Volunteering takes the field

St. Louis Arc is an organization that supports and empowers adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to participate fully in their communities. Arc offers different programs tailored to the needs, personal interests, and the goals of those they serve and the volunteers who support their organization.

Coaching leads to friendship

Dozens of Spire volunteers took the field during St. Louis Arc's Day Services Softball Tournament to assist more than 200 participants from the nonprofit’s day programs.

"The Spire volunteers spent the day coaching the softball teams, serving food, engaging with participants in the activity areas and making new friends in the outfield between batters," said Megan Eader, Volunteer Manager. "Thank you to the Spire volunteers and Arc staff for making this day extra special."
