Ken Hack

End-User Marketing Representative and Gas Scheduler

Ken’s current roles with Spire are as end-user marketing representative and gas scheduler. In these roles, Ken negotiates natural gas supply arrangements with industrial customers, handles nominations and also completes scheduling and imbalance management functions for Spire’s Midwest customers.

With involvement in many aspects of the natural gas business, Ken has developed a vast amount of industry knowledge that helps him recognize the importance of communication between the supplier and end-user, and seek to develop a trusted relationship with the people involved. This level of understanding allows him to more successfully respond to the specific needs of industrial customers and provide cost-saving options to industrial facilities.

Since joining the Spire team in 1999, Ken previously held the roles of accountant, gas scheduler and trader. Before Spire, Ken spent 15 years with Lawrence Fabric Structures where he was the operations manager for five years and then launched and managed their first internal graphics department.

Ken received his bachelor’s degree in business/accounting from Fontbonne University in St. Louis.
