Caring for a Mobile shelter that cares for others

Having a safe place to stay is vital in times of a crisis, especially when that crisis is in your own home. Penelope House in Mobile, Al. offers a helping hand for victims of intimate partner violence and their children. That help may be a safe space to stay, warm clothing, or an advocate to help navigate the court system. Or help may be a support group, transitional living or community education through school-based prevention education programs.

A day of service

Spire volunteers spent a day as part of Spire Serves, our commitment to using our energy for good in the communities we serve, by offering support at Penelope House. Volunteers worked on yard maintenance, landscaping, and assembling informational packets.
