We're here for you, St. Louis

Our hearts go out to all families, businesses and organizations throughout the St. Louis community who were impacted by the severe weather on May 16. Spire crews continue to work with first responders and other local utilities to assess damage, prioritize and respond to emergency calls, and safely coordinate response efforts.

Our commitment to you: When it’s safe to restore natural gas service to you and those in your area, we’ll be there.

Assistance is available for impacted Spire customers

We understand that getting back on your feet during any unanticipated event can take some time — and a bit of extra help. We want you to know that if you’ve been impacted, we’re here – and we have several ways to help.

  1. Through September 2025, there will be no service initiation or reconnection fees to get your service back up and running when it’s safe to do so and you’re ready.
  2. We’re voluntarily suspending service disconnections for non-payment for those impacted by the tornadoes through September 2025.
  3. We have special extended payment arrangements to help you.

As an essential services provider – and a part of the St. Louis community for more than 160 years – we understand our role in helping you and our community recover. That’s why we’ve provided support to the American Red Cross Greater St. Louis Chapter and United Way of Greater St. Louis for relief efforts related to this weather event. And it’s why we’re coordinating efforts with area leaders and other members of the St. Louis business community to support local recovery efforts. You’ll also see our team volunteering as part of our Spire Serves initiative to care for the communities where we live and work.
